PWRPLANT was born in the quiet, disorienting haze of new motherhood.
Like many new mums, I became deeply conscious of what I was bringing into my home — what touched my baby’s skin, what went into his body, and what sat on our shelves.
That curiosity quickly turned into something bigger.
As I learned more about ingredients, processing, and hidden additives, I realised something uncomfortable: if I was being this careful for my newborn, why wasn’t I offering myself — and my family — the same standard of care?
The newborn stage is beautiful, exhausting, and relentless.
There were days when nourishment meant whatever could be prepared quickly, one-handed, and without thinking — often while holding a baby in the other arm. But I didn’t want “quick” to mean compromised.
I wanted something clean.
Something real.
Something my body could actually recognise.
